I love this article. I read somewhere that the Jordanians welcomed the voting committee, whereas in Egypt, there was a bit of attitude since Giza is the only remaining ancient wonder - as you noted. What's your feeling on this? I have to say that, for my part, I agree with the Egyptians (although with less condescension). The pyramids really are in a class of their own.
